Light weight pleated China silk shawl has been dyed with the itajime shibori method to achieve bold patterning and then pleated using the arashi shibori method creating a larger size piece that can act as a shawl or a scarf. This piece is slightly heavier and more voluminous than the China silk scarf. The ends are asymmetrical.
