Medium weight silk charmeuse is gathered lengthwise at intervals the width of the fabric. It is then pleated and dyed. This creates a shorter, voluminous, organic piece which, when draped over the shoulders, stays in place nicely.

Horizontally Gathered Shawl

Silk charmeuse is gathered widthwise at intervals the length of the piece. It is then pleated and dyed. This creates a more textural piece which is intended to be a shawl but may also be worn as a scarf.

Double Pleated Shawl

Silk is pleated and dyed twice, creating highly textured, irregularly shaped pieces.
